MUCKET SOUP
Fill your mucket about half full of water and place on the fire to heat up. You will be adding more stuff to it. While the water is heating take a small hand full of country ham chunks and place in the mucket and boil for a few min to make a stock. Add dry rice and let cook. Then add your chopped vegetables like carrot, celery or cabbage, and then boil till done. Add some more water if needed. Then add the spices that you like. Remember the country ham is salted.
